CZECH COACH FOR OPERA SINGERS

   

    Petra has worked with opera singers as a pianist since her studies in Ostrava and Luzern in early 2000s, followed by many collaborations while she lived in Prague. She has performed in recitals in the Czech Republic, UK and Norway, appeared in modern opera productions as a pianist, such as Philip Glass's Les Enfants terribles in National Theatre in Prague.

​    After she moved to the UK, Petra started working as a Czech language coach for individual singers, and later for British and Europian opera companies. 

    Petra offers individual Czech language coaching sessions online and in person. Please get in touch if you would like to arrange a session, or order a language/piano accompaniment recording of a role that you are currently studying.

2024

Wiener Staatsoper - Rusalka and Petra will return back in November 2025 for a production of Makropulos Affair. 

Recent engagements in student projects include Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama - Cunning Little Vixen, and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Holocaust Memorial project. 

In April 2025 Petra worked with soloists and Tenebrae choir in a concert rendition of Janáček´s Brouček  LSO and Sir Simon Rattle. She will return in January 2026 for coaching the Makropulos Affair.
