Petra has enjoyed teaching piano since 2005. Over the years, she has helped hundreds of pupils and students of all ages succeed in their graded exams and Diplomas. A few of her graduates have continued to study music at RCM, Oxford, RNCM and other conservatoires and universities. Petra's students often perform in concerts, festivals and competitions, such as the EVC music festival in the Royal Albert Hall.

    Petra has taught piano at the Prague Conservatoire (2009-2012) and the International School of Music in Prague (2005-2012). After lelocating to the UK she has worked at Wolverhampton Grammar School (2013-2015), Repton School (2013-2019) and Repton Preparatory School (2013-2018), Lichfield Cathedral School (2018-2019), and the junior department of Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (2014-2022).

    Petra currently teaches at the All-Steinway LSF Music School in Loughborough. She has adjudicated a few piano competitions and has been a member of juries, such as the Mahler Piano Prize - international online competition in June 2021.

    Petra offers advanced piano lessons in her home-based studio in Loughborough. She currently has a couple of spaces available for committed post-Grade 5 to Diploma level pianists, interested in further developing their repertoire and technique, as well as performing in competitions and festivals.
